I'm Cheryl Stewart and I write copy that people can quickly understand, tells a story, and makes a point.

I studied advertising at Mohawk College, picking up honours and awards to boost my ego and get noticed.​ That landed me an internship at Ogilvy, Toronto. And it worked again to bring me into Bensimon Byrne (can't say enough good things about them). 

​

​While at agencies, I wrote for Scotiabank, Rexall, Nature Conservancy Canada, Inniskillin, Bota Box, Neutrogena, Huggies, U by Kotex, Robax, Advil, American Express and a few others.

​

Then boom, pandemic. Remote work enabled me to pursue a dream to move to the east coast. And with most Toronto-based agencies hesitant to commit to fully remote roles, I moved in-house.

​

That's where I adapted my skill set to a B2B SaaS company, ScalePad, where I wrote anything under the sun (as long as it related to marketing). 

​

Right now I'm stationed (remotely) at Black & White Zebra as a Sr. Conversion Copywriter.

​

So in total, about 6 years of experience between agency and in-house.
